The PAWS Angel Fund was founded In Memory of Tesoro. Tesoro’s parents, Mitchell Alevy, PhD and Yael Alevy, PhD, made a donation in loving memory of their wonderful dog Tesoro whom PAWS FOREVER was honored to serve. This fund was established to help pet parents who may need assistance in saying goodbye to their beloved pets in a dignified, compassionate, and loving manner.

Tesoro, which is Spanish for “Treasure” was sweet and lovable from day one and all through his life. He was truly a joy who put a smile on everyone’s face that met him, and he would always smile with that big Samoyed smile. Indeed, one person called him a “white cloud with a face.” He typically communicated by using his big, beautiful eyes. Tesoro never growled even once in his entire life, and he always loved to be petted. He was great company for his brother Miel (Spanish for “Honey”). The two of them played like puppies for all of Tesoro’s life. They would roll on the ground together and they particularly liked to sing-howl, which was beautiful music to human ears. Tesoro loved to romp and chase his brother all over the yard in the snow. Tesoro was a true treasure and is deeply missed by all who loved him.
